Yesterday our volunteer driver, Bill, took part in a milk relay from the Morpeth Milk Hub down to Wetherby where he relayed with East Midlands Freewheelers. He then delivered to the Neonatal Units at James Cook Hospital and Sunderland Royal Hospital before he returned to the Morpeth Milk Hub.
Yesterday Shropshire • Staffordshire • Cheshire Blood Bikes collected Fecal Microbial Transplantation (FMT) samples from University of Birmingham Microbiome Treatment Centre. They then relayed with Whiteknights Yorkshire Blood Bikes. It was then relayed with our volunteer driver, Drew, who delivered it to Endoscopy Department at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.
Tonight at 7pm our charity will reach it’s 9th anniversary since our service first went ‘live’. In that time we have completed over 95,000 jobs that have helped to improve people’s healthcare journey. This has only been possible thanks to the support we receive from our team of volunteers, our service users, our donors and YOU the public. Thank you to each of our supporters!
