Today EGGER (UK) Limited presented us with a new, fully serviced Yamaha motor bike and two years’ worth of fuel. Employees at the manufacturing company voted to support us and have spent the last two years raising funds to help. Throughout 2016 and 2017 a range of events have taken place from pub quizzes, fishing and golfing competitions, raffles and for the more adventurous regional and national challenges. We are extremely grateful for all the hard work the EGGER employees have undertaken to raise the funds. And, in recognition of this we have named the bike after the company.

In a week that has seen the first snow fall across the North East we have seen our team reach another milestone in our charity’s history. Our volunteers have completed 25,000 jobs for the NHS since we went live on 03/02/14.
Thanks to the dedication of our committed volunteers and our supporters we are able to continue to #makeadifference.
Please feel free to print, copy, save or forward this newsletter to increase awareness of our charity!

We are calling for the support of the local community to help win funding as part of the Aviva Community Fund 2017. Northumbria Blood Bikes are relying on votes to increase their chances of winning funding of up to £25,000 which they hope will help them to prepare for a reliable winter service. Only projects with the most votes will become finalists, so additional support is vital.
Can you spare some of your free time to help make a difference to patients across the North East? Whether it be Riders, Drivers, Shift Controllers or Fundraisers there is a role for everyone. Come and join us, together
we will make a difference.
We need £5,500 per month to continue. Can you help with a regular donation?
